Series
5000 |
|
 |
The
Series 5000 general purpose rotating joint is suitable
for hot oil, steam, water, air and chemical use. It
features all stainless steel hardware for superior
corrosion resistance. The fluorocarbon o-rings and
bearing seals in the Series 5000 allow it to run at
higher temperatures and ensure longer life with minimal
maintenance. The integrated cartridge design makes
refurbishment fast and easy. |
| |
|
Series
2500 |
|
 |
Features
like the welded-edge metal bellows type seal, secondary
lip seal, air circulated insulating sleeve and finned
housing of the Series 2500 make it the best hot oil
joint on the market. The Series 2500 is designed to
dissipate heat and withstand shock and vibration to
ensure reliable, trouble-free performance. |
| |
|
Series
9000
|
|
 |
The
Series 9000 general purpose Rotary Union® features a
bellows-type seal to provide greater flexibility where
equipment misalignment is inherent, and to resist seal
hang-up in media contaminated with non-abrasive debris
and suspensions. The Series 9000 is available with
either flanged or threaded shaft connections for greater
mounting flexibility and with ball bearings for higher
speed or maintenance-free graphite bearings for higher
temperature applications. |
| |
|
Series
8000
|
|
 |
Available
in sizes ranging from 1/2" to 4", the Series
8000 is designed for operation in a variety of steam and
hot oil applications. The special carbon graphite
bearing requires no lubrication. The stainless steel
sleeve insert makes this joint a favorite in the textile
industry. |

General
Purpose Joints |
|
 |
Duff-Norton
is proud to introduce series 805 for use with a wide
variety of process fluids including air, vacuum,
chemicals, and oil.
Series
805 offers two seal options, E1 (standard) is carbon
graphite against ceramic and can be used at pressures up
to 435 psi (35 bar), and E2 which is stainless steel
against ceramic and can be used at pressures up to 725
psi (50 bar). All models can be used at temperatures up
to 320F (160C) and speeds up to 5000 rpm depending on
the pressure.
Single
flow models are offered in sizes from 1/4" to
1", and dual flow from 1/2" to 1". All
805 series standard models are backed by a one year
warranty.

Duff-Norton
Series 600 Rotary Unions® are general purpose joints
designed for hydraulic, pneumatic, and water
applications. Series 600 joints are available in sizes
from 1/4" to 1" and can be used at pressures
up to 3625 psi (250 bar).
Series
600 Rotary Unions® feature nickel treated carbon steel
construction for corrosion resistance. Stainless steel
models are also available. Series 600 uses a teflon
encapsulated O-ring seal designed for higher pressures
and easy maintenance. All sizes are offered in axial or
radial flow (90) options. Series 600 standard models are
backed with a one year warranty

High
Pressure Joints |
|
| |
Duff-Norton
is proud to introduce a wide range of high pressure
Rotary Unions® for use in hydraulic and pneumatic
applications.
Series
1700 is a single ball bearing design for slow rotation
at up to 5,000 psi (350 bar). Standard models are made
of nickel treated carbon steel. Stainless steel models
are available.
Series
1900 is used for higher pressure applications (up to
10,000 psi/ 700 bar) at speeds not exceeding 100 rpm.
Series 1900 features two spaced ball bearings and Teflon
encapsulated O-ring seals for minimal maintenance.
Series
6000 joints are available in eight sizes, from 1
/8" - 1 1/2". Both radial and axial flow
configurations are offered as standard models. Series
6000 joints are ideal for shaft speed up to 5000 rpm and
pressure up to 1500 psi (10 bar).

|
Multiport
Joints |
|
 |
Duff-Norton
multiport Rotary Unions® are available in both high
pressure and high speed configurations.
Series
HPMC Rotary Unions® are designed for higher pressure
requirements, and available with up to eight ports as
standard models. Special configurations are available
upon request. Series HPMC joints are suitable for use in
low speed applications for pressures up to 5880 psi (400
bar). Each passage is sealed to restrict leakage between
ports.
Series
HSMC Rotary Unions® are available with up to four ports
as standard models. Series HSMC is perfect for low
pressure applications, up to 175 psi (12 bar) with
rotational speeds up to 3,000 rpm.

| |
|
Threaded
Swivel Joints |
|
 |
Duff-Norton's
Series 1100 joints are threaded swivel joints for use in
applications where complete rotation is not necessary.
Series 1100 joints are available n sizes from 1/4"
to 3", and can be used at pressures up to 725 psi
(50 bar).
Series
1102 swivel joints are designed for higher pressure
applications, for use at up to 1160 psi (80 bar). Series
1102 joints are offered in 13 sizes, from 1/4" to
6".
Series
1100 and Series 1102 models feature nickel treated
carbon steel construction. Stainless steel models are
also available. All sizes are offered in axial flow
configurations, or with a 90° stainless steel elbow.
|
| |
|
Flanged
Swivel Joints |
|
 |
Duff-Norton's
Series 1300 joints are flanged swivel joints ranging in
size from 2" through 12". They are used in
applications where slow rotation or swiveling motion is
needed. Series 1300 joints are suitable for use at
pressures up to 290 psi.
Series
1300 joints are available in nickel treated carbon steel
construction as standard, or with a stainless steel
shaft. Design features include a ball bearing for
rotation, and a Teflon-encapsulated o-ring seal. Series
1300 swivel joints can be used in applications with
temperatures up to 392° F (200° C)
